J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College’s Chapters of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society held their Annual Fall Induction Ceremony on Saturday, Nov 3, 2012, inwards the Lipman Auditorium, of the Massey Library Technology Center at the Parham Road Campus.
Established inwards 1918, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society serves to recognize together with encourage the academic achievement of two-year college students together with furnish opportunities for private increase together with evolution through honors, leadership together with service programming. Reynolds has 2 chapters at the college. The Alpha Iota Beta chapter represents members enrolled inwards programs at the Parham Road Campus together with the Alpha Gamma Omicron chapter represents members enrolled inwards programs at the Goochland together with Downtown campuses. Students who accept completed 12 transferable credit hours together with accept a 3.3 cumulative GPA at the college are invited to bring together PTK every autumn together with saltation semester.
Alpha Iota Beta Chapter President Corey Hancock, Jr. opened the festivities together with doctor Gary Rhodes welcomed the audience, composed of members, their families, campus faculty together with staff.
