National African American Read-In



Reynolds participated inward the 2016 National African American Read-In, sponsored past times the Black Caucus of the National Council of Teachers of English.  Students, faculty, together with staff met together to read aloud to each other on Feb xviii at the Parham Road Campus together with on Feb 22 at the Downtown Campus.

Students from Maria Ramos’ African American Literature classes together with Tamara Watkins’ Public Speaking together with Intercultural Communication classes, besides every bit other students, staff, together with faculty members, performed several readings from such authors every bit Maya Angelou, Oprah Winfrey, Langston Hughes, Claude McKay, Audre Lorde, together with Thurgood Marshall. The selections ranged from poesy to memoirs, together with from legal writings to random quotes.
